Tequila Ranch is a rustic wedding and event venue located in rural Taylor, Texas—just a 30 minute drive from Austin. It is the passion project of owners Joe and Stormy Krippelz, who painstakingly hand selected the reclaimed materials and spent countless hours creating the venue space, ceremony space and more. Tequila Ranch has a capacity of 150 seated guests. We also have onsite lodging available, as well as event coordinating services.

Fueled by his love of building and the dream of creating a space where people could celebrate, he poured countless hours into every detail. Known for his creativity, dedication, and warm personality, Joe shaped the signature look and feel of the ranch.
Stormy gets. it. done. She thrives behind the scenes—coordinating event details, lending a hand to brides and guests, or even rolling up her sleeves to whitewash rustic wood panels. Fun-loving yet fiercely dependable, she’s the kind of teammate who makes everything run smoothly. Whether handling admin or last-minute tasks, Stormy ensures the ranch sparkles.
Elissa’s journey with Tequila Ranch is personal—she and her husband were the first couple to marry here. Planning her own wedding revealed her natural gift for organization and creativity, making her role especially meaningful. With a heartfelt connection to the venue, she brings brides unique insight and care throughout their planning process.
We had the absolute honor of hosting our wedding at Tequila Ranch. Joe and Stormy were fabulous to work with and Elissa was a dream. Our wedding could not have been as enjoyable and carefree without them.
